Dragon Ball is an extremely popular Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akira Tomiyama. It was published by Jump, the number 1 manga (comic book) magazine in Japan. Dragon Ball is about the life of Son Goku, who is on a lifelong quest to retrieve seven dragon balls, that are said to grant any wish.
